Sony HAP-Z1ES

Amazing performance from a "ES" Sony media server. The reviewers rave about this piece as Sony shows that it can produce audiophile quality components. This unit has the stock hard drive or I can insert my solid state drive for the cost of the drive ($200).  It is easily user installed. I used both and found that the SSD was a nice upgrade in sound. 
There are numerous nicks and scratches on the case that are not apparent from a few feet away but I found when photographing. I rated it 6 for that reason. Functionally perfect. 
This is a very solid and well machined piece. You get Sony reliability with an amazing sound at a price that makes it a true bargain.
