At almost 40lbs, this is a tank of an amp and it really performs as the reviews state. In developing this ES series, Sony was proving to the audiophile community that they could develop a reference quality piece and it worked. This is an amazing sounding nimble and articulate amp with gusto. Comes with all original packaging and remote. 
The scratches and rubs on the case lower the price without affecting the sound quality at all.
