Yamaha YP-D9 Turn Table, Vintage, Recapped, lubed, in Excellent condition, vintage turntable, VPI, Vintage Audio, Ortofon, PrimaLuna, Conrad Johnson, Cary Audio, Micro Seiki

I purchased this to see if I wanted to get back into vinyl. Its completely refurbished and looks great in my system; sounds better. I've tried this with many cartridges. honestly its will work with anything. I'm tod the tone arm or unit was built by Micro Seki. I believe it  as this tone arm and direct drive unit are extremely well built. I have used SoundSmith MIMC Star, a $1900 cart and it sounds fantastic. I have used a Ortofon 2M Bronze and its perfect.  This Yamaha YP-D9 was never sold new in USA. This is imported and upgraded caps, tone arm, RCA's. Everything including nichicon caps from Ebay seller Capt.Mark who sold it to me in 2019. It performs flawlessly and has a very nice cover in good condition. It comes with a brick to convert voltage. It will ship in professional packaging and is in EXCELLENT working condition. Age appropriate markings. Cover is in very good condition and does show some minor signs of wear for age.

·         All the electrolytic caps were replaced with upgraded audiophile Nichicon Fine Gold and Panasonic Low ESR, including the power supply caps

·         All solder joints were reheated-anything questionable was resoldered

·         The arm was cleaned, lubed and adjusted.

·         The entire unit was tested & adjusted to spec with an oscilloscope and DVM as needed

o    Motor speed, arm lift and height, tracking force, etc."
