I am selling a used
McIntosh MC275 Tube Stereo Power Amp
This is the original version, made in 60's. The amp was plugged on a variac at 85v AC and both channels worked great and produced clean and full music. I don't have its service history, therefore the new owner needs to bring it to a shop for going-over before daily use. I am not liable to any damage if it is plugged right into 120v wall voltage.
The amp appears to be in all original condition, except those big can capacitors strapped on the circuitry.
All small tubes are included, and they are all vintage. The KT88 were used for testing and NOT included. They are not matched pairs anyway.
The amp is in overall good cosmetic condition. Chrome on chassis is still pretty OK. Not much pitting. There are some dents on transformers, as shown in pictures.
No manual or box.
I welcome local cash transaction. I also know how to pack for safe shipping. Paypal for distant buyer is OK, but please add 3%. Due to its weight, no international shipping.
