Von Schweikert Audio VR55 Aktive

This is a gorgeous pair of Von Schweikert VR55 Active Speakrs, they very rarely ever come up for sale as they are an amazing full-range speaker. This pair is finished in piano gloss black, I don't see any visible scratches on them but there are some on the very bottom from moving them around. I have the brochure, polish, electrical straps but the spikes are not the originals.
This is one of the most revealing and well-balanced speakers on the planet. The bass is amazing, very fast, very detailed, and very deep.The speakers are very heavy but easy to manage. They do have some scratches on the very bottom from a moving dolly, you can't actually see anything unless you put them on their side, they are almost perfect other than that. They also come with the factory boxes and I may even be able to deliver in the range of California, I will include shipping in the price which will have to be freight in the US, lower 48.
I upgraded the fuses to silver which made an improvement in the base. I had to turn it down a bit after the fuses but it seemed to be even more articulate. You can adjust the bass several different ways including removing some of the stuffing but I never needed to do anything like that, I just moved them about 3-4 feet from the back wall. in my room. The imaging is huge with a very lifelike organic live music sound.
