Meadowlark Audio OSPREY

Excellent 3 way floor standing speaker from American maker Meadowlark. This company made, in my opinion, some of the best speakers to be made in the US. The rating is because of age. They are in perfect condition with only a few minor marks on the cabinets which are nearly impossible to see. The Osprey's are probably the best large floor standing speakers I have owned. I'm downsizing later this year and will not have a room large enough for them. They are currently in my studio which is 14 X 25 feet. This is the only reason for selling them. I even have the sock that acts as a cover.The dimensions are 45" h X 81/4" w X 16 1/2" d. They weigh 80lbs each. I do not have the boxes and they are for pickup in the Atlanta area only. Buyer must be able to carry 80 lbs up a flight of stairs. Excellent review with all specifications to be found at Enjoy The Music.com They were $3,500 new and Blue Book has them at $2,200 used. Rare to find Osprey's at all and in this condition very unusual. I would consider a trade for smaller floor standing speakers of like value. Non smoking, no pet environment.
