Rhodium/solid copper speaker binding posts; gold-plated power inlet contacts; oversized wire of purest, ultra-soft annealed copper. Even the power cords, fuses and footers provided are among the best in the industry. "Merrill starts with a solid aluminum block that is 35 pounds. They carve out the chassis from this solid block to limit any sonic interference. They keep the walls 1/2-inch thick to limit and absorb vibration. To isolate the solid-aluminum billet chassis from vibrations and other noise on the equipment rack and stand, Stillpoints Ultramini Risers are provided.
