This is a Totaldac D1-Direct and D1-Server/Reclocker combo. It is in perfect working condition and looks beautiful. Both have the DSD option. I will describe them in maximum detail.
The D1-Direct was upgraded from a D1-Six at the factory in June 2020. It includes the original box and packing materials. No power cable.
The D1-Server/Reclocker was purchased separately on Audiogon. It is older, from about 2016, I believe. It includes the original USB cable and manual. No original box, packing materials, or power cable. It has a small ding on the side of the chassis that is not visible except under close examination in the right light, but it is worth noting. It is the primary thing keeping it from being 9/10. Also, note that this is the D1-Server. The newer generation D1-Streamer has the same Roon/UPNP/Airplay functionality, but uses an optimized board and the Gigafilter USB cable. The reclocker section is the same in both.
Both units use 115v power supplies for North America.
The DAC and Server/Reclocker are only being sold together. They are a natural pair that effectively achieve most of what the D1-Twelve mk2 is capable of. The current retail cost of the Direct-DSD/Streamer is $27,788 USD. (The Server is upgradeable to the Streamer should you choose. I mainly used this for the Reclocker functionality, so it didn't make sense for me to do this.) I am selling the Direct/Server at this price to fund a new business opportunity that I simply cannot pass up. I am a big fan of Totaldac. I have owned the PS Audio Directstream and the Chord DAVE; the Totaldac D1-Direct is on an entirely different level of resolution and refinement, imho.
The DAC and Server will be sent via FedEx and will of course require a direct signature from the recipient. I will take care of the shipping fees within the lower 48 of the USA. Anything beyond that will require an additional fee; please inquire. Good luck!
