Audion Sterling single-ended Pure Class A Stage Linear tube amplifier

Audion (Made in UK) Sterling Pure Class A Stage-Linear tube amp. It has an input driver stage and front volume control so that it can be used as an Integrated amp as well as an amplifier. Rated at 12 wpc in the manufacturer's specs, the previous owner measured it at somewhere around 25 wpc peak output. Uses a pair of EL34 tubes, one 6DJ8/6922 driver tube and one 5687 driver tube. It has the classic Audion single-ended tube amp sound. I also have the KT-88/6550 version of this amp and they sound very similar. I'm only keeping the KT-88 version because it is a true integrated (5 pairs of inputs) and has a remote control. I am very happy with the sound of both and would keep both were I not trying to downsize. This EL34 version has only a single pair of RCA inputs and no remote. 
NOTE: Unlike some other Audion amps in the Sterling model line, this one is not built for swapping in multiple different types of tubes. It is built to receive EL34 tubes only, and good robust ones at that (the amp can have high plate voltages). The affordable and very good sounding JJ/Tesla EL34s sound excellent in this amp and work great too.

It will ship with a set of tubes that have less than 20 hours on them. These tubes are a matched pair of JJ/Tesla EL34 tubes, an EH 6922, and a GE 5687 tube. If you purchase at my asking price, two pairs of additional EL34 tubes are included free (see below). 

Extras:  At my asking price, I will include   1. the gold faceplate and badge that Audion made to upgrade these early amps because the early version looked rather plain. See all the pictures for both looks.    2. one matched pair of new Svetlana "Winged-C" EL34 tubes dated Oct 2008 (retail value of $120) and one pair of used Mullard/UK EL34 tubes (used resale value of $75-$100). All tubes are tested and working fine.   3. an additional volume knob, in case you don't like the look of the original one.
