For Sale: One Anthem Pre 1P Tube Preamplifier in very good condition. There are few nicks and scratches on the Faceplate, but overall, the Faceplate still looks pretty good considering it’s age. I would rate the condition of this Anthem Preamp as 7 out of 10. This Anthem Pre1P is a great sounding, very musical Phono Preamp, not edgy, or harsh like so many Solid State designs around this price point. Another design plus is that the AnthemPre1P is a four tube design with a Tube output stage, not a one or two Tube Hybrid Phono Preamp design like most products near this price point. The Anthem Pre1P is suitable for use with High Output Phono Cartridges. This Anthem Pre 1P Preamp was built in Canada with high quality Components. The Pre 1P uses two 6922 (6DJ8) Tubes and two 12AT7 Tubes. This Anthem Pre 1P comes with 2 great sounding, lightly used Sonotone 6DJ8 Tubes, and 2 new JAN Philips 12AT7 Tubes. I do not have the Original Factory Box. However, I will pack the Preamp extremely well and ship the Preamp Insured. Thanks for looking.
