This used OPS-1 MKIII was made in 2003 and is in perfect working order. Cosmetically it is in very good shape (the power supply top cover does have a couple of scratches - see pics), and the face-plates are in very good to excellent shape (see pics). We have gone through this preamp recently and have tested all tubes, calibrated operating/bias point settings to factory specs, etc... it works and sound great. A number of tubes in it have been replaced in recent years. It has fairly new gold pin Gold Lion 6DJ8s, 2 Jan 5751s, one black plate Sylvania 6350, and one fairly new JJ 5751. Power supply tubes 6EM7s and OA2s are in great shape.

The only caution I have for buyers of these Joule Electra Tube phono pre's is that you can NOT stack the chassis, especially in MC gain mode as the MC gain front end circuit (two 6DJ8s) will pick up interference (mag field) from the power supply or any other component with a power supply with a strong magnetic or RF field [like a wifi router or music sever/streamer] either right above or below the main chassis in your rack. Set-up properly, these are reasonably quiet (in MC gain mode - much quieter in MM gain mode) and have a  dimensional (very good big) sound stage, with that wonderful Joule body/tone .

There is no factory box, but I do have manual and can very safely package for shipment.
