Jolida Foz SS-X Soundstage Expander

Jolida/Black Ice Audio has brought a product onto the market designed by Jim Fosgate.>>>> Please note that the owners manual has both Jolida and Black Ice Audio on it's cover. This was during a transition where I believe that Jolida was taking BIA into it's own. So there was a transitionary period. Same exact product, different logo, that all.<<<<<<<<< >>>>>> It is described as a soundstage expander. I can't fault the unit, but must sell for financial reasons. Here are three 'upgrades' that I made. 1) Replaced the original tube, a Tung-Sol 12AU7W, with one of my favorites>>>Gold Pin-----Genelex Gold Lion. Was worth the extra $50, and has almost no hours on it. (I am also including the original Tung-Sol 12AU7W tube that the unit came with) 2) The original knobs had no visible pointers on them. That is frustrating. Also, being picky, I would add that they revealed the holding nut on the control shafts. So I ordered these cool solid metal knobs, with pointers, and skirts to best cover what they should. >>>>3) It's a small thing, I know, but seeing how this is a tube unit, I replaced the harder rubber feet with soft silicone feet. Wouldn't you? _____________________

____ The unit uses cross cancelation, BUT you can vary how much it uses. This is a big deal because every recording can vary in what it might need. In fact, you can Diminish the soundstage, should it need that with this same control......... Then there is the bass control. My speakers do fairly well in the bass, but sometimes could use more/less. Great to have access to this option. ..... ....... ...... There is even a display that will show just how much information is going left to right, and even front to back in the original recording. I don't use this and the power switch lets you turn off the LED display.......... ... There are three inputs for this unit, allowing more than one source to be connected. Impressive.
I will send the unit, owners manual, and power cord. Don't think that I have the original box, but I do know how to pack perfectly!
