I was using it in front of my Bricasti M1SE DAC w/build in Ethernet Roon end point Player. In many ways it outperformed Roon via my Bricasti with a highly focused steamer set up! Other components include Focal Sopra 2 Speakers, Ypsilon Pantheon Integrated Amplifier with Stage III Concepts and Echole cable loom. 


It’s is an excellent sounding and built component that far outclasses it’s very reasonable selling price. You could buy it today at this price and sell it in 5 years and still get all your money back! Ayre products are outstanding and the provide service for everything they have ever made! 

Ayre has always been a top notch manufacturer in the premium digital segment. They are known for being expensive but with build quality, workmanship and word class performance that is beyond reproach! At this price you cannot go wrong. I am only selling to reinvest the funds into my re-entry back into vinyl! 



Quite simply this was one of worlds best transports for both audio and video. It’s highly focused efforts to providing the best video has actually had the pleasant byproduct of improving its sound even more so then first known to Ayer. It’s contributed to making it such a great sounding audio CD transport. There is no DAC conversation it’s just an extraordinarily focused transport and when you attach to your DAC to it and have a listen you will know what I mean. It sounds great! 

Ayre digital products have a unique house sound. All their digital products are musical but they provide heightened levels of transparency and dynamics less manufacturers can’t quite squeeze out of their products. 


This unit for its own merit was known as the very best the world could offer. It’s a very focused product with a deliberately defined unique set of goals it set out to achieve. 

Nice, clean and well cared for Ayre products just typically cost more so don’t wait!
