STAX DA-300
Extraordinary and unobtainable STAX amplifier in pure class A 150 + 150 watts into 8 ohms. Electrically perfect, possibly one of the best class A solid state amplifiers ever made. 220 volt version of regular import. The frame has some inevitable slight scratches visible only on close visual examination.
Extraordinary sound, with realism and a richness of detail and nuance never heard before.
It can easily drive any speaker with any impedance. The resolution across the range is impressive and the three-dimensionality of the scene is spectacular. Plus, it's beautiful and worthy of being exhibited at MOMA for its timeless design!

| How old is this amplifier? Hello it was introduced in 1974. Difficult to answer but I suppose about 40 years. It's in my system and sounds perfectly. Regulary bought from an Italian seller of vintage devices, he has full checked it before selling. Rgds |
