While there are a lot of 'Budget' turntables out there, however Pro-Ject is unrivaled in value vs. performance.  The Essential is a surprisingly well built and performing table in the sub $500 market.  It comes with a pre-installed Ortofon OM5e cartridge that does a nice job of bring the music to life. You'll be enjoying your collection minutes after opening the box! 

 The Essential II includes a perimeter belt drive/ motor system for low hum and noise.  The lightweight aluminum tonearm pivot is very good at picking up all the music.  This table includes a smoked acrylic dust cover.  It just keeps getting better!  
This model features an on-board phono stage so you can connect it directly to your stereo, Sonos amp, powered speakers, or any home system, even without a phono input.  On top of that, it has a built in DAC so you can connect it to your computer with the USB output.  This table is the perfect way to get into vinyl no matter how you want to connect it.  
 
This unit is an open box, but never set-up.   Contents are like new.  Its clean and has been re-boxed in its original packing with all original accessories.  We'll even include the full manufacturer warranty!
