Adcom GFA-5500

This GFA-5500 is a 2-channel MOSFET-based amp. I am the second owner of this unit. Except for the fact that I am the second owner, this would be a 9/10. I cannot find any scratches on this unit. Almost no dust either as this unit has been boxed for the past 8 years. I have fired it up before listing it here and it works perfectly.

I have an Adcom GFA 5503 and GFA-5400 that I have used for a 5-channel home theatre since about 1999. They work great. About 8 years ago, I wanted to get this amp to replace the GFA-5400 so that I could use that for an outdoor system. However, after buying this unit from its original owner here on Audiogon, I chose a different direction and this unit has been boxed for the past 8 years -- essentially never used by me except to test it before offering it for sale here.
I am a BIG fan of these older Adcom amps. They provide a huge amount of power and they are very neutral. Frankly, I'd love to keep this unit forever, but we are moving out of the country to a destination with 225 electrical so my ability to keep using this unit is limited.
