Avalon Acoustics Opus Floorstanding Speakers Gorgeous Spectacular Manual & Cones
These speakers are in Spectacular Condition! I would rate the Speaker 7 out of 10 cosmetically. The grills have snags and a few small holes. There are plenty of small scratches, The LIGHT scratches do not affect the sound or operation. I took a close-up photo of the worst scratch on the speakers. The impedances are also shown matching at 5.7 Ohms. The Sound and Operation are a 10. Please see all 15 photos for details.

| Do you reckon these OPUS pair are the better speakers than the ceramique ? Thank you again for your interest. Subjectively having not listened to the Ceramic. These speakers are not bright At All. Where i have reads the ceramic is bright? Same drivers here I believe for mids and tweeter as the ceramic. The sound is gorgeous OKAY LUSCIOUS through the highs and mids. The bass is good, but not Earth Shaking. The Imaging and Sound Stage are Phenomenal. If you cherish the midrange The Opus have the best midrange I have ever heard!!! HUGE SWEET AND NATURAL!!! |
| Is the the Avalon opus ceramique ? How old are the speakers?
Thank you for your question. No The speakers are the OPUS. They are about 15 years old. The ceramic has a ceramic woofer. The opus has two kevlar woofers in each speaker. Regards... |
