Arcam FMJ CD-23T

Hi,
I am selling my Arcam FMJ CD-23T. This is the one with the special dCS Ring DAC and the display that reads text (on CDs that have text). I loved this player, but unfortunately I started hearing continuous static when playing with RCA interconnection. I tried using Toslink and was able to connect it to an external DAC and I was able to play without static, but since I was bypassing the Ring DAC, it did not sound as nice with my external DAC. I sent the player to the certified Arcam repair center in Los Angeles (George Meyer), but the end-result was that it would cost more than I wanted to spend to repair. The tech's notes on the unit were, "Must repair power supply and DAC assy. Remove melted insulator from pcb." So...I am selling this for parts, or for someone who would like to try and fix it themselves, or for someone who wishes to use it with an external DAC via Toslink (or, coax, which I assume will work too. Never tried, as I do not have a cable). The unit is in great shape, other than the problems I have mentioned. Thanks!
