Mint condition Cary -DMS 600 in Silver. Sounds great as a stand alone digital pre . All the connectivity you can need. Never fatiguing. I moved up the ladder from the Aurender A10 and the Lumin T2 to the 600 and the only reason for selling as I bought a DMS 700 Please add Paypal. I will take care of shipping with acceptable offer.

This unit does not have a built in dac, is that correct? Yes and a good one AKM 4497. Great all in one player |
Hi, I am working on rebuilding my audio system after a forest fire consumed their house :-(i’ve been doing some research for how to stream high-quality music and I’ve been considering a Aurender A10. After reading some reviews of the Cary Audio 600 I think I’m interested in your unit as it uses the higher quality AKM DACS compared to the A10. can you give me some insight on the difference between the two as I see you have on them both. Thanks, Gabor Hi Gabenda,
Sorry to hear about your fire. Hopefully you are bouncing back and not too many memories were lost.
The Cary is a much more robust sounding unit , with better low end and and very nice nice midrange.
Depending on the rest of your equipment you may be happy with it as a stand alone digital pre as it has all the inputs you would need.
The Aurender is a nice unit but going on 4 years old. It does include internal storage but I have a 2 tb external hd hooked to the Cary and it sounds great
The Cary is Roon ready and the Aurender does not support Roon
Cary has a nice display for Album art the Aurender just a LED read out
Both apps are real good and easy to use.
Cary does Bluetooth also
The only reason I am selling the 600 is I bought the DMS 700. I would probably not do it again if I had the choice. The 700 sounds better but not by 2,500 price difference.
Cary support is great as is Aurender.
Both really good but the Cary sounds better,Roon ready, and upgraded Dac chip set If you can live with a portable hard drive or just strictly stream Tidal or Qobuz the Cary is the way to go.
Hope this helps
