Rogue Audio RP-7

Rogue RP-7 Hybrid line stage preamp. Stereophile and Absolute Sound both reviewed and agreed on both the sound and it's recommended status. The reviews are accurate in my experience with this preamp...it sits right in the middle of a "Tube" sound and a 'Solid State" sound. I took delivery of this in August of 2019. I thought this was end game for me as it's so detailed, absolutely quiet and musical, but had a great opportunity at an ARC REF 10 and bought it. This RP 7 has nothing to be ashamed about at 5K against a 30K product! There are a couple of tiny marks, and I included a picture of the biggest, face plate and oval appear perfect to me. The remote has some wear close to the volume button, but you really should buy the machined aluminum remote from Rogue that comes with the RP-9. Finally, I picked the RP-7 over the RP-9 because the tube rolling options are so vast with the RP-7 and changing the two front tubes will allow you to customize the sound. Once you buy it, if you like, I will let you know what I rolled in and what it sounded like so I can save you some money if you want to roll.
