Cleaning out the closet. I've had this cable a few years bought as a demo. I went PS Audio and used the iS (HDMI) so this just collected dust. Here is the description of the cable from Straightwire's website.

AES/EBU is the digital transmission format most often employed in high level commercial and studio applications. Two carefully jacketed individual conductor groups are carefully twisted to deliver an accurate 110 ohm impedance signal path. It is critical to have dual shields (foil and braid) to minimize both low and higher frequency interference. The higher impedance (110 vs standard 75 ohm for coaxial) allows for more data transmission, especially over long runs. This format is only found on high grade consumer equipment.
