Original McIntosh MC275 MC 275

Original MC275 -- Picked up from an estate sale. They came with some good NOS RCA 6550 tubes, one reads 50 which may need to be replaced soon. Power tubes have numbers written on them by the tech, though I have no idea what they mean. I will give you some spare preamp tubes as pictured. It has been been recapped by a reputable McIntosh technician. It’s sounds great and flawless. There are some rust on the steel cover but for its age, it’s good.

VERY IMPORTANT: Due to the abundance of fraud, local pick only with CASH preferred. Apple Pay or Zelle can be considered depending on your feedback. Shipping will be fairly difficult. Unless you are willing to pay for professional packing and take the risk of damage, I’d rather not ship it. I don’t have an exact figure but be prepared to pay north of $200 for shipping and professional packing. Will not ship to someone without reputable feedback. What version is this?
It's the very original, not MK2, 3 or 4.

Why doesn't it have a power button?
It just doesn't. That's how old amps are - they are meant to be connected to a preamp that supplies the power, but you can buy easily order an inline power switch from Amazon that will cost less than $10.

Are the tubes good?
They work and sound good to me. I'd replace the one that reads 50 soon if I were you.

Do you have spare NOS 6550 power tubes?
Yes, but they ARE NOT included in this sale unless you want to buy them separately.

If it's been recapped, is it still a McIntosh?
Well that's for you to decided. If it's built to spec, why not, but I don't want you to feel uncomfortable, so if ORIGINALITY is your main concern, please buy brand new from an authorized dealer.
