Description:
One pair B&W Nautilus 802 speakers, consecutively serial numbered, in Cherrywood finish. The Nautilus series was the first production speaker readily available following B&W’s cost no object development of the Nautilus system architecture. Nautilus is a revolutionary design incorporating many of the structural benefits of the heralded Matrix Series and along with numerous innovative features resulting from the nautilus project, many of which had never been used in commercial loudspeaker design. Most notable is the mid range and high frequency head configuration which frees them from unwanted sound degrading cabinet diffraction and resonances. The low frequency drivers are situated in patented interlocking anechoic cells preventing cabinet wall flex greatly reducing unwanted sonic coloration. Nautilus speakers represent a landmark engineering marvel, compelling artistic statement and captivating sonic delight producing transparent, flawless sound.

Notes:
I am the original owner of these speakers. They were powered by Classe Audio CAM 350 mono bloc amps (350 watts each).
Our home is child and smoke free.
The speaker with serial number ending in 89 has a very minor scratch on the side about 3” in length. It is almost invisible but in the interest of full disclosure I call it out here. The unit’s appearance is otherwise impeccable.
Own a gorgeous and iconic set of audiophile loudspeakers and enjoy music to its fullest.
Delivery:
Given their size and weight I greatly prefer local delivery only.
I will consider delivery to addresses up to 500 miles at buyer’s cost. Shipment to more distant locations will require freight carrier transport with all that entails. We can discuss this option but I do not favor it.
Pricing: These speakers are priced to sell. No low-ball offers please.
