Exemplar Audio XL-1 Single driver monitors

Selling these for a friend. Current model Exemplar XL-1 monitors. He is the original owner. There are a few scratches, and nicks, but still very presentable. I posted pictures of the scratches. Excellent sounding speaker for a smaller room. I don't have the boxes, but they can be packed and shipped no problem. Ignore where it says pickup only, it was the only option that Audiogon would allow me to select.  Buyer pays all shipping fees. They weigh 35lbs each. Speakers are currently in Seattle, but can be brought to Oregon anytime. Any questions just ask. I check my emails daily.

Following our success with our XL-IV speakers we decided to develop a full line of speakers. Wanting to continue with the capabilities of high efficiency speaker systems we began to evaluate other driver possibilities to round out the line.

We decided we wanted to provide many of the same characteristics of the XL-IV (high efficiency, simplicity, point source, lasting reliability and of course world class performance) but at a more affordable price point. It was a pretty tall order that took a great deal of time and effort to realize.

We settled on the world class drivers from Audio Nirvana. They were a high efficiency, full range single driver design with massive magnet structures, paper cones and folded cloth surrounds.

We applied the same cabinet design techniques and internal technologies as in our XL-IVs.

Based on results from several shows now and feedback from our customers we feel we have reached our goal.
