VINTAGE PAIR OF KLH 9 Speakers - NOW REDUCED
Stereophile called the KLH 9 the “Best Available Loudspeaker System, Regardless of Cost," “The KLH Nine was the first truly full range electrostatic speaker. This pair of KLH 9s have had a single owner, my audiophile father, C.C. Close, M.D. Dad was a military trained electronics engineer and maintained these speakers personally. They will not have to be rebuilt. Dad rebuilt the power supplies himself. (Article available upon request). They were maintained in a temperature controlled specially built audio room.
$2500 for the pair, will deliver a reasonable distance from Chicago. Or you pay shipping (we've built special purpose crates and have the original boxes for the power supplies).
Each speaker weighs 59 lbs

| Have you listened recently to the speakers and do they perform properly? Shipping to 98642? They have been disconnected for a year. Their twins are at my brother's house and they are working fine. Dad had a set of 4 acquired at the same time and maintained together,
They worked a year ago.
We built crates, so shipping will be around $350 each for speaker and power supply (UPS ground)
