Sonus Faber Cremona Auditor

This is a pair of Sonus Faber Cremona Auditor stand-mount speakers. Stands included. 
This is the ORIGINAL version of the speaker and one of, if not the last designed by Franco Serblin, the genius behind Sonus Faber. Many lust for the "M" version of the Cremona series which were not Serblin's design, used different drivers and were voiced to be more forward sounding. In contrast, this version uses the slit-cone Scan-Speak Revelator mid-bass driver and a Scan-Speak ring radiator soft dome tweeter. Both are of the highest quality. The tweeters have been replaced with new units due to one old tweeter's glue having given out, allowing the pole piece to shift. To be clear, this was probably a manufacturing defect in that drive unit as there is absolutely no physical damage to the cabinet or any other part of the speaker.  
These speakers sound wonderful. Those who say their overtly dark sounding tend to have not set them up properly. And while setup is important to get the most out of any speaker, I find this generation of SF to be slightly more particular to setup. After rake angle and distance from back and side walls, along with the correct distance between the speakers has been reached, these speakers truly get out of the way and absolutely sing! I ran them in my personal rig with McIntosh C1100/MC462 for several months but I'm a dealer, always needing to make room for what's next. 
I do not have original boxes for these speakers. And while local pickup is easiest, I can have these professionally packed and ship them. But they'll ship in 3-4 boxes and will be heavy and expensive to ensure they arrive undamaged. As I say, I am a SF dealer and I'm happy to share any further details needed. Please no lowball offers.
