Music Reference RM-10 mkII

This very rare and “collectible” RM-10 MKII issue was actually used by Roger Modjeski of Music Reference as their "show" model/demo, at shows. The last RM 10 was issued some time in 1995(?). 
It is 8 Ohms output ONLY!
I purchased it from Music Reference about 2 1/2 years ago. It was tuned to perfection before delivery to me. I would have kept this one if I could find another one and mono-block them. Alas, none are to be found. I moved on. I personally want more power.
The RM-10 mkll, pure Class A, power amplifier is as incredible sounding as it is quiet. Hard to explain, but it's just not there! Everything in front of it is there however, and your music will be reproduced respectively. If any equipment in front of it is noisy or unresolved, it will reflect that. It’s amazingly musical as well as accurate, too, and is well renowned for being so. Sporting 35watt of pure tube power, this amp never needs to be biased (cathode bias). It uses LEDs to indicate how the two channels are matched. Bad match, bad tube. Custom made for Music Reference, Cardas posts are provided. The amp uses EL84 power vacuum tubes, and 12AT7 driver tubes. Ram Labs vacuum tubes are included. It is hand made and wired point to point! No circuit board is utilized.
This unit is not in perfect aesthetic condition. (is in perfect playback condition ) It has cosmetic issues. There are scratches on the casing and a dent in one of the top-plate corners shown in the photograph. It was delivered to me this way. It’s at least 35 years old and as such is 8-10,  LOL. It doesn’t matter what it looks like! You could always build a new box. Returns will NOT be accepted because you don’t like the way it looks!
It runs hot! The device Itself actually has a hum as well.  A front tube cage is included, rarely.

At 14 lbs, the RM-10 MkII is lightweight.  Hand wired in point-to-point wiring and claimed "unconditionally stable". This means that your only consideration is requisite max power 35-watt listening peaks. Inputs are gold-plated Tiffany RCAs on 100Kohm input impedance, outputs half-inch solid-brass hex-head posts. 70 watts of electricity at idle.  It was highly praised throughout the industry. (4) el84 and (6) at7 RAM Vacuum tubes are included.
