Accuphase T-101 Super Tuner

The Accuphase T-101 FM tuner is considered to belong in the class of the best sounding analog tuners ever produced at any price! This specific tuner has been recapped with Elna Silmic, Nichicon Muse, Panasonic FM and both ultra high end polypropylene and polystyrene film caps,(see photos). The complete restoration was performed by Avatar Engineering and aligned by Mike Zuccaro in Aug. 2021. Additional upgrades include: PRP, VISHAY Film and Foil, and Caddock ultra precision resistors ($$$$$) in key areas along with a larger capacitance power supply featuring ultra fast recovery rectifiers and polypropylene bypass caps, small value electrolytic and inferior tantalum capacitors were upgraded to audio grade film capacitors   Cosmetically, the tuner is in Near Mint condition and presents as new from the front, top, sides, and frame,  The interior looks new. All meters, knobs, and buttons were rebuilt and work as they should.  I have had throughout the years ( and still own a few) many Mcintosh, Sansui, Kenwood, Day Sequerra etc. tuners, and with the possible exception of the Sansui TU-X1 and the Marantz  10B this tuner beats them all in sound quality, selectivity and sensitivity! The reception is very smooth and tubelike with great treble, midrange and bass. Includes the original power cord. Thanks!
