A bookshelf version of our popular 700 series speakers, this Episode® 700 Series LCR Speaker brings the same sophisticated approach to music and movies as our 700 Series towers. High-gloss black finish and dual-front facing ports make it an elegant loudspeaker that will blend with any home furnishings, and this full-range speaker is perfectly suited as left/right or as a center channel in a home theater system. You'll appreciate the clarity and detail produced at a low-volume level, and a wide, natural soundstage at the high end. High-quality driver materials combined with our unique NCS woofer material, catenary dome tweeters, and dual 5-¼” woofers will deliver remarkable performance for years to come.

NCS Woofer Material

We've combined the strength of Kevlar™ with the natural damping qualities of paper in a unique woofer material. A multi-step drying process during manufacturing enables these drivers to retain a natural, open cell structure that results in well-damped, neutral acoustic characteristics. 

Engineered for Performance

The goal of engineering is to produce a product that is greater than the sum of its parts. Outstanding driver voicing and a specifically engineered 2nd order crossover network ensure precise, responsive performance and separate this speaker from mass-produced alternatives. 

Catenary Dome Tweeter

The oblong (catenary curve) shape of this tweeter produces more off-axis acoustic energy. The translation: a wider, more engaging soundstage with an open, forward sound. 

Cabinet Construction

A rock-solid cabinet provides more accurate response by reducing resonances that create unwanted distortion and coloration of the sound. That's why this speaker is made with rigid ¾” MDF walls and internal bracing.

Bass Response

This speaker utilizes a paper cone with Kevlar™ woofer for quick, accurate bass. Low-frequency response is further enhanced with two precision-tuned tapered ports.

Furniture-Quality Finish

A multi-layer painting and clear-coat finish provide this product with a rich, glass-like black finish. Combined with the modern aesthetics of the cabinet design, these attractive speakers compliment any décor.

Wall-Mountable

Do you need to mount speakers next to a flat panel display? This product features dual 3/8-16 threaded inserts that allow you to wall mount the speaker for left, right, or center channel applications. 

Gold Plated Binding Posts

Support for bi-wiring or bi-amping to deliver premium performance and dynamic range in home theater applications. Connectors accept up to 12 gauge wire easily.
