When it comes to critical mass,  oh man I would never own a audio system without them. There are many upgrades and or tweaks available in this hobby but none that add to the details and quite signal as much as these racks. Its pure and simple isolation of your equipment is equally as Important as the equipment itself. I use critical mass on the gear. I use isoacoustics under speakers and subs. To me in my experience its absolutely the most important factor in hearing the finer details and both horizontal and vertical imaging helping to bring the concert to you. If you have ever owned critical mass you will never go without even if building a second system. If you never owned critical mass you dont realize what you are missing and you spend all that money on gear and never really hear its true potential. I have a total of 4 racks Plus I have 4 racks 2 tall x 2 wide. I have a few audio guys that either own audio stores or work at one. They come over from time to time and listen. These are not the guys I buy the bulk of my gear from but they are friends. When they come over I let them sit in main chair and play their favorite demo tracks. Without fail they always hear things they have never heard in these tracks and on at least 1 or 2 tracks they make the comment,  "thats the best Ive ever heard that song", ..

I built a custom modular room inside my 2 car garage that I can take apart and move to any home I move in future. Before that my system was inside my condo which was built in the 70s and has a terrible smallish L shape living room. The above comment applies for when system was in that L room as well but it obviously sounds better in the custom room in my 2 car garage. When I was ready to move the gear my friend David from an audio store came over to help me because he wanted to hear the racks. He wasnt sure how much a rack could do. He knew my system was special but how much of it was the racks responsible for. So we listen to maybe 5 tracks on critical mass. Then I had several cutting boards on 2x4 to remove racks and placed equipment on cutting boards. Listen to same tracks within a matter of minutes. It wasnt even close. It was like going from something special to just ok. Nothing else changes just the racks. He was blown away and remember he didnt believe me in all the visits to my home that I think the racks are the most important factor in my sound. He now knows its the most significant upgrade you can make to any system. When building my system I was willing to go with less components and spend less on those to ensure I could afford to put them on critical mass. These racks may have a chip in the paint or small scratches here or there. I bought them used. I didnt unpack all but I'll unpack all and be sure to sell you the best 5 racks and post. If minor imperfections bother you then dont even be interested in this listing. You can touch them up if you wish. I have the original paint code from critical mass. My buddy does paint and scratch and dent repair and he said this color is easy to touch up and hide scratches ect. It's an old Toyota color he has worked with many times because he does two different Toyota dealers exclusively.
