| How old is the unit , why is it rated 8?Is it 4000 albums or songs? hi al. nice to meet you. my name is Barry. i purchased the unit, new, in may, 2016. wrt condition, i dunno. i always see eXcellent as non-eXistant. but upon reading audiogon's description after reading your question, i think it is eXcellent (will change it if allowed). not sure what you mean by "songs". it's a fab collection, about 2/3 great classical (many rca living stereos, deccas, mercurys, etc., etc.),, very much 24 bit. much of the rest is jazz, not fluffy jazz, but in the style of ornette, coltrane, monk, mingus, ellington, dolphy, kirk, parker, etc. etc., arc., arc., etc.if you give me your [filtered] address, i will happily [filtered] you pdf of the indices of the files on the hdd.it's about 5 1/2 terabytes of music.and then there's a variety of all sorts of other stuff - world music, popular, tango latin, soul. i hope to hear from you soon. |
