McIntosh MC602

MC602 SE Special Edition with LED Lights and MC1.2K Monoblock handles.  Gorgeous looking amp with 600 watts per channel X 2 channels.  The most powerful Stereo Amplifier McIntosh has built and modern in every way.  Quad Balanced design with LED lights.  Looks nearly identical to the MC452 but has a little better build quality not to mention an extra 150 watts per channel!  The rear of the amp has a very functional handle.  This handle is especially helpful when moving the amplifier.  One person can lift from the front handles while a second person can lift from the rear handle.  Audio Classics has the MSRP at $13,000 USD.  The unit has been used in a secondary listening area so the hours are low.  The preamp(s) used were the C2200 and a C22.  The tube preamp/ solid state MC602 combination is amazing.  This would be a great match for the new C12000 dual preamp.  Speakers used were Martin Logan and Magnepan.  The Magnepan 3.6 worked especially well presenting a huge sound stage with an almost surround sound sense of imaging.  Sounds from: in front, beside and behind you... from just two speakers.  Only selling due to a downsizing move.  The MC602 SE is about 170 pounds  BOXED shipping weight.  I will have your unit available at my business for PICK UP either by the buyer or buyers agent (UPS,FEDEX Uship.com. ect.).  I feel it is better to let the buyer source their options in terms of shipping and insurance options.  This seller will assist in every way to facilitate a smooth transaction.
