Dynavector Karat 23RS-MR, ruby cantilever, micro ridge stylus, low hours - gorgeous

Dynavector Karat 23RS-MR low output moving coil cartridge. Short (2.3mm) ruby cantilever, Micro Reach (Dynavector's somewhat curious name for micro ridge) stylus. Approximately 15-20 hours of total use since new--I bought it a few weeks ago from a former audio dealer who is selling off his collection, who told me he used it for 5 hours over a 15+ year period. I put maybe another 7 or 8 on it. Tracks like a dream at 1.5g.



To my ear, this cartridge marries the speed, agility and startling dynamics of a London Decca Super Gold with the detail and resolution of something like a Van den Hul DDT 2. It's a most impressive piece of gear, although its output is a bit low for my current setup.
