Virtually brand-new Japanese version of the Luxman L505uX Mark II in excellent condition. Unit is working perfectly, and the sound quality is incredible. I haven't been able to find any visual flaws. I think it's hard to describe how much this transformed my system, or how beautiful it is. Built entirely in Japan with an MSRP of $5000 plus taxes.
Reviews:
Minor disclaimer: I've been using only the balanced line inputs to drive my speakers and headphones. I haven't been able to try the MM or MC phono inputs.

IMPORTANT NOTE: I imported this from Japan, and it is the Japanese version of the Luxman L505-uX Mark II -- identical to the US model in all ways except it requires a 120V to 100V step-down transformer. I can recommend the "UMI Step Down Transformer 120V to 100V 500W Voltage Converter", available for $70 on Amazon, which I have been using without issue. It is spec'd to substantially more continuous and peak current than the Luxman needs, looks inconspicuous, and is made with a quality toroidal transformer. So think of this as a (mandatory) power conditioner for this unit. YOU WILL NEED TO BUY THE STEP-DOWN TRANSFORMER YOURSELF. PLUGGING THIS UNIT DIRECTLY INTO THE A 120V SOCKET MAY DAMAGE IT, AND I WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO REIMBURSE YOU FOR IT IN THAT CASE. With the step-down converter, the unit functions completely normally and without any issue whatsoever.
