These cables have less than 10 hours of use on them for I sold the entire system after letting it sit for 2 years and using it for only a few hours. It was due to my disability from chronic pain. Now I am selling off everything as I am able. These cables are exceptional and replaced my other speaker cables that cost more than twice as much.
HYPE
Ibis is a very high conductance cable and can be used for all loudspeaker / amplifier applications where fidelity is the feature concern. Ibis features are ZuB3™ complex cable geometry, 100% Teflon™ dielectrics all in the same pearl white color, 100% silver alloy on all conductors and circuits. Terminal blocks and y-out blocks are machined from billet aluminum 6061 and hard anodized. There are no networks or filters in this cable, it runs full bandwidth, unimpeded, uncolored, and untouched.
"The Zu Cable Varial is the best and most expensive interconnect this Utah-based company makes. It's a premium cable within spitting distance of the $5750 Stealth Indra. In my book, there's no need to spend a penny more on cables. Ditto for the matching Zu Cable Ibis speaker cable. Both are based on the company's proprietary B3 geometry and offer ultra-low noise floors and premium resolution for systems that can handle that amount of magnification power." —Positive-Feedback Online, Writers Choice Awards (see image #6)
"Inserting Zu's Ibis priced similarly to the Big Silver proved far more different. By comparison, both Analysis Plus cables sounded more diffuse, an effect somewhat similar to how minor tape hiss acts like subliminal dither. By removing it, the background of the Ibis was overtly inkier, the images against it more focused and concrete, a touch smaller but firmer and more defined. This also allowed the very subtle ambient cues encoded in Pradal's echo-y recording venue to come further to the fore." —Srajan Ebean, 6moons.com (http://www.6moons.com/audioreviews/analysis+3/bigsilver.html)
