If you are looking for a great performing Power Cable at an affordable price please continue reading...
Up for your consideration is a 6 Foot Custom Power Cable made by Patrick Cullen the name and hands behind Cullen Cable. Some brief background: for twelve years, I worked with my father Rick Cullen, the well-regarded owner of Cullen Circuits. Having grown up in an atmosphere of electronics and hi-fi, I was naturally drawn into the family business. I served my apprenticeship under my father and learned the proverbial ropes. From that vantage point I availed myself to a broad spectrum of electronic know-how.
From there, I went on to manufacture cable and circuitry for many companies including PS Audio (we made the Mini Lab and Lab Cables, the archetypes for all PS Audio cables), James Bongiorno's Ampzilla, Arnie Nudell's Infinity and Genesis Technologies, BGW, Camelot, and many others.
Having worked on countless products for these companies, I amassed tremendous experience in building cables and amplifiers and doing modification work—pretty much assembling any piece of high-end audio equipment. Now, I’m proud to present my own branch on the audio family tree—my Cullen Cables.
Audio cabling has gotten ludicrously overpriced; my ethos at Cullen Cable is to produce audiophile quality products without the huge price tags. Cullen Cable is located in central California—where all products are hand built using only the highest quality materials.
Power cables these days are outrageously overpriced, so Cullen is proud to present its affordable alternatives. The Red Copper Series consists of three 10awg 99.99% pure OFC copper wires (comprising 41 individual 30awg strands per wire) in one jacket, spun in a rotation that helps reject noise and RF. The cables are finished in black Techflex sleeves. Cullen Cable’s Red Copper power cables will compete with, if not better, cables 3 and 4 times their price. The Red Copper is a neutral sounding cable that mates well with all manner of equipment from DAC’s to amplifiers to disc players. Available in 15-amp or 20- amp terminations (20-amp IEC connector is a Hubbell 320HC). Satisfaction Guaranteed! I am now offering a 30 day money back guarantee. (Customer pays return shipping)

I am impressed with the Cullen Red Copper series power cable, Build quality is awesome, The sound is very neutral as Patrick advised nice, sound is very clean, sound stage opened up, bass is tight not to heavy, the upper treble is more extended. I have this cable connected to my Music Fidelity A5.5 Integrated Amp. With this amp I have used the Pangea AC-9, and AC- 9se, the Red Copper series sounds much better. Patrick is a very nice person to work with he is more than willing to answer any questions you have. I will purchase from Patrick again, Thank you.
Bob Farra who purchased 5 Red Copper Power Cables said,
Here is my initial report, based only on the use of the power cord thru the dac: At the start I tried hard to hear a difference. Nothing really jumped out at me. Then as the playlist via the Imac server got further along I noticed something....then something more. Finally I asked my wife if she noticed anything different (had not told her of the addition made). She said things sounded way different the speakers to her had come alive (i describe it as the soundstage got huge). WOW! I finally went to bed thinking that for $100 or so i had gotten more umph than on stuff i've spent thousands on. So as I proceed I assume that adding more power cords will be a no brainer.
