Velodyne SMS-1 Sub Eq System

The Velodyne SMS-1 is a standalone device that uses powerful software to analyze and compensate for room anomalies, which reduce the performance of your subwoofer.  The SMS-1 is inserted between your preamp/processor and the subwoofer by either single-ended or XLR connection. The SMS-1 uses a series of generated frequency sweep tones and an included microphone to determine how the signals interact with the room. The frequency response of the room is displayed onto your TV, which allows you to make manual corrections or, if you prefer, you can command the SMS-1 to do this automatically. 

Digital Drive Subwoofer Management System for Any Subwoofer The SMS-1 System allows all subwoofers to have Digital Drive DSP control software and features in a rack-mountable case. With the SMS-1 you can perform Auto-EQ or Manual-EQ in-room bass correction. You can control low-pass and high-pass crossovers, slope, phase, equalization, volume and 8 parametric filters. The remote can invoke night-mode and listening mode presets that can be customized in the menu as well. The SMS-1 comes with a complete accessory kit that includes a microphone, remote control, mic stand and mic, audio and video cables.  
Velodyne recognized that many of the unique design features of their Digital Drive system could be extracted and released as a standalone product, enabling owners of a wide range of other subwoofer makes and models to benefit from DSP (Digital Signal Processing) technology without having to invest in a whole new subwoofer.  
Unit is complete as if new with all cables, remote, manuals and original double box.
