The ViaBlue X-25 power cord is a fully shielded, 13 gauge, 3 conductor power cord. The conductors themselves are silver-plated copper with a full aluminum, mylar foil shield. Capable of 15A this power cord should be all that is needed for any system with 250 watts per channel or less.
I covered this in what I think is a thoroughly appropriate Blue Matrix braid. The cable is terminated with some knock-off Rhodium plated Copper connectors. They may not be the big name brand but they sound very good.
