This is a beautiful cd player I bought it new 4 or 5 years ago. Very few hours on the transport as I have copied most cds to a Mac. As a DAC I have used it off and on along with a LynxTWO and a Lavry Blue over the years.
The Accuphase is a strong CD player, silky smooth transport and has balanced and single ended outputs (I used balanced to a Jeff Rowland Pre), digital in and transport out.
It looks like new, no scratches but there is a scuff mark on the top top of the faceplate. I only just noticed it as I was taking pictures.
This is the Japanese version at 100V and I will include the 120 to 100 step down transformer I have used. It is very quiet and with very strong bass.
