Up for sale is a wonderful AcousTech PH-1 phono preamp, designed by the legendary Ron Sutherland. The PH-1 practically defines "value", and was specifically engineered by Sutherland to achieve high end performance at real-world pricing. He sacrificed almost nothing beyond fancy cosmetics, as the PH-1 weighs in at a beefy 20 pounds and features Wima capacitors, Dale resistors, Burr-Brown op-amps, and a 3/32" circuit board. It is configurable for either MC or MM operation.
My PH-1 is in fantastic shape. I'm rating it an 8/10, with a couple of subtle blemishes on the top of the case being all I see to keep me from calling it a 9/10 on the audiogon scale. It will ship with the owners manual and power cord. I am a fanatic about good packaging -- see my feedback. Buyer pays shipping and PayPal fee, where applicable. Thanks for your interest!

"The PH-1 threw a tight and tangible soundstage filled with living, breathing space."
"The AcousTech was a winner when it came to reproducing dynamic shadings."

"I have heard nothing better at less than $4,000. In fact it is up there with the best at any price."
-- Larry Kay, Fi Magazine
The AcousTech PH-1 is marvelous and magnificent ...a bargain at twice the price. It is a phase coherent phono stage, the left to right channel RIAA phase matching is perfect and the quiet passages really came alive. This unit has a warmer low end than my tube pre-amplifier. the PH-1 is certainly well made, nice, and stable.
