Do not use the higher models without a Basic in your system, because the Basic focuses your Bass and enhances the effectiveness of the other models. Check out the review below.

We also have a used Silver model, but you want to start with the Basic model, regardless of how many others you will use. The Basic is the starting point to fix your bass; place it at the base of your floor, between your speakers. Listen for several nights, then take it away...you're going to want to put it back.
