Acrolink 7N-A2500 MEXCEL Mint

The 7N-A2500 is an outstandingly fine 1.5 meter interconnect that possesses very high resolution against a super black background, while offering an engagingly organic and musical quality that sits just a tad to the sweet side of absolute neutrality. It can be favorably compared to any interconnect regardless of price. It is constructed with a unique process as a balanced 2-core shielded cable. The basic conductor is a fine ribbon (0.1x0.8mm) of stress-free 7N copper, insulated with an extremely thin enamel coating, called MEDIS, in a Litz structure. Sixteen of these ribbons are braided densely around a center core of polymer polyolefin. The MEDIS insulation coating of the individual ribbons is an electro-deposition process which ensures a previously unattainable, perfectly even coating around the edges of the rectangular ribbon. The shielding layer is also formed with sixteen braided 7N MEXCEL copper ribbons, although of larger size (1.88x0.122mm).

ACROLINK is the sole producer of documented stress-free 7N (purer than 99.99999%) copper in the world, requiring the most advanced refining facilities available anywhere.

The RCA plugs are an ACROLINK proprietary design complementing the quality of the MEXCEL conductors. The center pin is a hollow tube of deoxidized phosphor, polished to a mirror finish and then plated with the highest quality rhodium. It is fitted with a carbon fiber sleeve in order to further eliminate resonance and interference.

This interconnect is also sold under the Esoteric brand with the same model number, as ACROLINK is the OEM supplier to Esoteric.

Conductor resistance is 25.5m.ohm/meter and electrostatic capacitance is 127pF/meter.
