ALTEC 604C in 606 cabinets 2 xovers +Upgraded outboard xovers+ spare 604C chassis for re-cone

These were my Fathers speakers, Babied his whole life. A pair of pristine Altec 604C dual concentric drivers in perfect working condition, all original. The included original Altec dividing networks, as well as two extra networks will be included. The network on the cabinet has a pot for the tweeter level. Also included is what i believe is the original potted green network, no tweeter knob. (i will have numbers and pics of both networks and the drivers for interested buyers). The other network was an after market custom units, he paid $1500!! They are using the best caps and cores-see pics. The cabinets were rebuilt by the famous cabinet maker Paul Lemaire, in Basking Ridge. Exact to Altec 606 plans and internally braced and stained red mahogany. Original grill cloth was sourced and used. Original Badges also used! The only "modern" touch are "T" nuts under the base for using the cone or spike of your choice. (he used Black Diamond Racing).
I will also include a 604C that needs re-coning (value $500). It is in a box built by Paul ready to be shipped to Great Plains Audio for a little TLC!
I am not an expert on these speakers but do know if you like 50-60's music, especially jazz, your LP's were mastered on them! They sound amazing with the SAM KIM Heathkit 151 pictured using Bendix 6905's in triode mode.
I will only ship via freight in the USA, using a company I use all the time for RMAF. I have had no incidents with them, unlike Fedex, or UPS. (AFC Global). It will be three items one pallet. Pick up is preferable. Buyer pays shipping. I doubt I will ship overseas unless the buyer assumes crating and shipping costs. Credit cards and Paypal accept (PP +3%). Local PU-cash is king!
