This premier release from the newly formed audiophile recording label, Straight Ahead Records, features Hugh Masekela on flugelhorn, Larry Willis on piano, John Heard on bass and Lorca Heart on drums. The recording was made at Bernie Grundman's studio on October 15-17 and was mixed directly to two-track analog tape. Tunes include "You'll Never Know," "Paper Moon" and "I Remember Clifford" among others - all to which Masekela brings a unique new interpretation. To quote Bernie Grundman: "These recordings are truly for the discriminating audiophile".
