Hey fellow audiophiles, skiers and lurkers!
Up for sale I have my cherished, beloved and immaculate double Record LP of Tool-Lateralus. I purchased this in 2000 upon hearing of their upcoming tour in 2001 for the album in question. I held off playing it and kept it pressed against my bookshelf completely sealed and untouched, no creases, corners or blemishes. My main mission was to get AT LEAST mysterious Maynard's Signature and if anyone tagged along that would be a bonus. After exiting the gig with my mind blown my focus was on one thing. The signature. I had carried the record around with me in a medium sized shoulder wrap bag the entire night. Upon realizing everyone man and his dog had the same idea, I did some searching... NOW! I don't condone breaking the law but it just so happens that after a fence jump or two I had first access to their departure. Star struck for words I simply handed him the record and within half a minute not only did Maynard make a mark but Danny Carey splashed some insignia's on it too! It was over. Life complete.
But fast forward 15 years and I now have a spluttering infant and a fiance that wants to get rid of my 'toy's; hence the sale. So it is with great adieu I will pass my baby onto someone who hopefully appreciates it as much. This is a limited edition double LP with Alex Grey artwork on every inch including the LP's.
Sad to see it as it may be the last visceral and angry TOOL we get to witness in our lifetimes. But happy for it to go a good home.
