Amperex 1960 vintage 12AU7 ECC82 vacuum tubes matched ultra quiet

For your consideration I have a superb matched pair of Amperex Holland 12AU7s. Acid etched codes of: "/0A" and "/0D" proving Heerlen Holland production in early 1960. Identical internally with 14mm gray plates and large "O" (halo) getters. This is my favorite 12AU7 series and these are what I use in my DAC. To me these tubes have soul but also are linear and dynamic. I like these better than the almost unobtainable 7316s and I like the balance this vintage better than the earlier production Amperex long plate. Notice that one tube has the Bugle Boy logo and the other tube not. This is of no consequence as Bugle Boy denotes a production period and not a special tube what is important is the near identical production period. This pair belongs together!

Tubes have been double tested for transconductance, shorts, gas, leakage and life on 2 properly calibrated testers. Further these tubes have tested and matched for gain and noise/microphonics. A superb gain match; these tubes get my highest rating for noise and microphonics of PHONO grade. Guaranteed to perform quietly and without microphonics in any application. Tubes test as NOS with as NOS life test results.
