I am selling my ALO CONTINENTAL DUAL MONO portable headphone amp and D/A converter. It is a hybrid/solid state design. It delivers the tight base and sonic precision of a solid state amp, but with the added mid-range richness, expanded sound stage and spaciousness of a tube unit. It is a beautiful brushed silver-grey and is equipped with a 2.5mm 4-pole balanced output jack and 3.5mm standard output jack.
The unit is in mint condition. It is cosmetically, mechanically and electronically perfect. I have the original box (in perfect condition).
The sound of this unit is astonishing. The tubes bring a beautiful warmth and body to the music and the solid state, the impact. It is a superb sounding piece of audio equipment, which I would recommend to anyone. Note: I use an Audeze LCD-3 on the ALO and the resulting sound is magical Thee retail price of a new unit is USD 1,495 in the US. I have seen 2 ads for this exact same unit in the orient for USD 2,400.
I will ship anywhere in the world where it is legal to sell. I will cover the shipping cost if it is being shipped to the continental United States. Shipping outside the continental US is at the buyer’s expense, along with any duties or taxes.
I will accept return only if the unit is not as I have described it. You should try the unit as soon as you receive it, as I will accept the return only if I am notified of the problem within 24 hours of receipt. I guarantee that the unit has been shipped in perfect condition. If it arrives damaged in any way your recourse is to the carrier. In such an event I will support you any way that I can.
My preferred method of payment is PayPal. This safeguards both the buyer and seller. I will accept a cashier’s check, but I will ship only after the check has cleared.
