Oh my! She's a beaut! And she's just as nice on the inside...

** Red powder coated case (satin, textured finish)
** All electrolytic capacitors were updated (low ESR in power supply, Nichicon FG and film caps for signal path)
** All diodes were updated except the germanium ones for the meters
** All resistors 1/2W and up were updated with higher wattage metal film
** All but two of the 1/4W carbon film resistors were updated to 1% tolerance metal film ones
** Upgraded transistors in the driver stage, differential pairs, and speaker protection circuit
** New bulb for meter lamp and all new fuses
** Potentiometers and switches received the prerequisite Deoxit clean and lube
** Main filter caps upped from 6800uF to 10,000uF and bypassed with film caps

If you can find a better sounding 6100, buy it...but you won't find one. Not just another pretty face...
