This is the Headamp BHSE, one of the best amps ever designed for the very best speaker technology available today. It's very famous in the summit-fi community, and if you're looking at this ad then surely you've already heard something about it, so there's not much to say that hasn't been already - the only amps that could possibly compete with this are $20k or more.
My experience with this amp has showed me that this device really is more of a precision instrument, where other amps serve their function with bells and whistles and fads to try and attract people interested in 'the new thing'; this is, like the hd800, a timeless achievement and a benchmark by which all future advancements will be measured. Although, as far as future advancements, I think we can safely say that the BHSE will remain the emperor of this market for many years to come. If you're looking to truly get serious about the most emotional, accurate sound possible - this is the right place to be.
This amp comes with the DACT 24-step volume control, which unlike the Alps volume control which is much more expensive, the DACT gives you 24 levels of volume to the Alps' infinite adjustability. For my money, I don't find it worth the price if I can get the same quality and power for less.
THIS AMP WILL BE PACKED IN ORIGINAL BOX AND PACKAGING with power supply, tubes, and power cable (for use between amp and power supply). Price includes shipping and insurance. This is the 115v version, and has 10 hours of use excluding Headamp's burn-in process.
