This classic 40W x 2 amp is in great shape -- there is very little rust and corrosion, and most the the lettering is intact. However, there is one odd cosmetic defect -- looks like someone tried to re-glue a label to the top of one of the transformers..
I have replaced two of the electrolytics on the power supply, and the main bias filter cap. The two 100 µf @ 500V caps tested fine, and were left in place. I also wired the slide switch in the front to turn the power on and off.
There are some pretty nice 9 pin tubes. The 12AX7s & 12AU7s are Telefunken (there is one McIntosh branded 12AX7 and I think it is a Tele as well). The outputs are a quad of Svetlana Winged-C 6L6GCs. Most of the components underneath are original.
I loaned it to a friend for several months. He was sad to give it up (as am I).
Shipping at cost.
